The mind has nothing to do with this subject, the heart and the soul are main characters. Whereas depression , mind is everything. depression means, making bad thought in your head that if not cured they can become real. More and more people suffer from depression from different reasons like problems at home, at work, problems with money , problems in love etc. A depression in the beginning seems like sadness combined with the lack of energy and interest. But if the feeling doesn`t go away after a few days, but it even gets worst then people should go to therapy. They can both be cured through therapy, meaning talking about your feelings and trying to understand what is the reason of all your sadness and how you can fix things on your own. Sadness means the lack of hope, means being hurt inside, suffering because of something and someone. Depressed means feeling sorry for yourself as a general state of mind.
